My name is Amber Roberts-Allen, and I am the Sewing Fanatic. When I was just 10 years old, I discovered my love of creating beautiful objects from fabric. I spent all my free time stitching together scraps of fabric I had secretly borrowed from my mother’s sewing room. I went on to work at a top designer’s showroom for many years after getting my master’s degree in fashion design at the NY Institute of fashion design. After many years creating fashions from someone else’s designs, I stepped out on my own. I was frustrated with how fashion catered to one size of woman. Being a woman of a certain bigger size, I wanted to show these women that fashion doesn’t have to belong just to those with the “perfect” body. I sourced organic and natural fabrics an began crafting designs for clients. I now enjoy seeing the joy that my clients have from receiving the perfect outfit made just for them.

Rachael Brandinburg is the founder of RED OAK Virtual Assistance. While earning her bachelor’s degree in marketing from Columbia University, she worked as the assistant to the Dean of Libraries. During this time, she was in charge of marketing the library and updating its monthly newsletter. Since her graduation Rachael continued to work as an administrative assistant for the six years. While employed, she ran the marketing department and managed social media.
In 2019, she took the leap to open her own service. Since then, she has served more than 50 businesses with her knowledge of marketing, communication and social media management.
As the owner of RED OAK Virtual Assistance, Rachael is focused on creating outstanding results for local health and wellness entrepreneurs by providing daily social media updates, responding to posts, writing advertising and making sure each part of her client’s project flows seamlessly.
Rachael has a quirky sense of humor, a deep love of being of service, a true get-it-done right the first time attitude. She spends her free time loving on her 3 cats and hiking the natural parks near her home.
