Are You Missing Passive Income Opportunities Right Under Your Nose?
Creating your own products is one of the best ways to create passive income. Memberships are another form. Every form of information you create has the option to become passive income in some form. Even your blog posts can become a form of passive income if you promote affiliate products (which you should be doing).
When it comes to passive income opportunities, you should already have your plan in place. (If not, why?). When you’re a new online marketer, you probably have chose to go with the inexpensive option for your product – a digital eBook.
So here’s your plan (maybe)…….
You decide to pay Clickbank’s $50 one-time publisher’s fee, and place your product there. You’ve discovered that Clickbank provides your affiliate program management, as well as your payment processor, so you won’t have to manage either of these things.
Of course, there are many other places to sell your digital eBook. We’ll explore those in another post.
And you’ve learned how to legally and effectively cloak your hoplink.
Let’s run over your checklist……..
- Domain name has been chosen.
- Product written.
- Minisite is done.
- Sales Page is up and ready to go.
- Affiliate banner ads and code have been created.
You’ve even paid for a professionally designed header and graphics. And you’ve already started to publicize your new eBook on Twitter, Facebook and other social networks and forums.
In fact, you’re all set, and ready to go!
Hooray!!
Or Are You?
There is one more question you need to ask yourself:
Have I made the most of every opportunity to squeeze more passive income out of my subject?
Until you’ve considered every available option, you’re leaving money behind that could be pouring into your bank account!
Here are some more options to consider:
You could easily do an upsell at check-out point by offering your eBook as a physical product. There are companies like Kunaki that will produce your CD or DVD on an “as-ordered” basis, shipped directly to the customer. Your base cost, at time of writing, is $1.75 per CD!
Another option is to turn that digital ebook into a Amazon Kindle version. This is really easy to do using Amazon’s ePub format. Of course your pricing will be different on Kindle’s marketplace. I did this with my Stress relief book. It’s not a lot of extra (yet) but it’s another source available online.
Create passive income from that same eBook by turning it into a recorded webinar that can be sold over and over.
