The 10 Best WordPress Plugins Every Blogger Should Be Using
Every blogger, whether new, seasoned, business or personal is always looking for the best WordPress plugins to add to their arsenal. I know I have several installed on my WordPress site that make things easier or quicker to do.
So I thought I’d give you a list of the top plugins to help get you started. Let’s take a look at some of the more popular and useful ones.
Maintenance Plugins:
WordPress Backup to Dropbox: It’s extremely important to back up your blog. Accidents happen and you could lose all your work. This plugin can schedule regular backups. the files are backed up to your dropbox account.
General Plugins:
TinyMCE Advanced: This is more of a style plugin that adds the MS Word feel to writing in WordPress.
Contact Form 7: This essential plugin lets you add a contact form to your WordPress-hosted blog.
nRelated Content Plugin: This plugin lets your readers dig deeper into your site by displaying content related to the current post.
SEO plugins:
WP Super Cache: WP Super Cache speeds up your blogs load speed. If you have a large blog you should be using this plugin.
All-in-One SEO Pack plugin: This is a WordPress essential. It allows you to give your page an SEO-friendly title, description, and keywords for your topic.
Feedburner Feedsmith Plugin: this one redirects your original feed to your Feedburner making it easier to track every subscriber who gets your content through RSS readers.
Commenting/Sharing Plugins:
Comment Luv: Your readers are rewarded with links to their latest post when they comment on yours.
Post Ender: Adds a short message at the end of each post. Great for email subscription opt-in.
Akismet: Although this one comes already installed, it needs to be enabled and get API key to begin eliminating comment spam.
