Where Do I Go From Here? The Journey to Authenticity.
Where Do I Go From Here? The Journey to Authenticity.
Following up on my last blog post, as I follow Lynn Terry and Vera Raposo niche selection journey I have some questions, thoughts and fears I’m struggling with.
First, I have been online since 2007. I’ve tried many different ways to make money online. I’ve done ebay, created and sold handmade crafts and gift baskets, did the writing/service thing (still do this), made some money with Squidoo (this was one of my favorite ways until recently with Squidoo’s many changes. I may go back to it later), create/sell plr, wrote a book to sell on Kindle, had several affiliate niche sites that are on the back burner.
Creating multiple streams of income:
I know I need to have several streams of income so I don’t want give up everything I am already doing…just cut back on working hours for dollars part and begin creating more passive models. This includes not only my own plr and information products but affiliate products as well.
Pondering…. Pondering…
As I ponder the direction I want to take the rest of my life to go, I will most likely move away from the Internet marketing field. I am ready to take the journey to find a genuine, authentic life and all the adventures along the way.
Many of us, especially those of us who have raised a family and are older, have lost who we are. Our dreams may have been put away when we put the needs of others ahead of our own. Like many others, I am starting to figure out who I am again. I am still my sons’ mom and my hubby’s spouse, and my mom’s daughter and caregiver. But I am also a writer who is passionate about animal and environmental issues. Who would fight for the welfare of any child. Who loves family and friend get-togethers. Who has deep feelings and strong opinions. I am the good listener, the problem solver.
So the question is:
How do you jump into a niche when you aren’t sure the direction you want to go?
Of all the things I enjoy the most, helping and teaching others is the most fun. I love teaching my grandkids to cook or showing someone how to do some task online. No matter what is going on in my life, food is always a big part of it.
I know I want to travel, to experience the food, cultures and lifestyles all over the world.
Are you living an authentic life? Do you feel like you’re making a difference in the lives of others?
